Professor Ulpiano Malachias was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in july of 1979. Professor Ulpiano Malachias is the program director of Gracie Barra Santa Ana . Ulpiano started training jiu-jitsu and at the age of 17. Ulpiano also practiced judo as a child and he won a lots of titles. Professor Ulpiano's witty personality, enthusiasm, integrity, and leadership make the essence of GB santa ana and touch all those around him. As a jiujitsu fighter, accomplished many titles including Panamerican Championship, Asian Championship 2006, 3rd place Euporian Championship 2007, and multiple American Nationals, Espirito Santo State Championships, etc.

Fabio Costa, 30 years old, born in Brasilia, capital of Brazil,proud parent. He begun his career in 1995, honored to have been promoted to a black belt by the one and only Carlos Gracie Jr himself in 2004. He carries under his belt many titles and is a world class competior. He is responsible for many athletes, and have promoted more than 20 black belts. He brought Gracie Barra to Brasilia in 2001. His first stop in the USA was in Atlanta, GA, where he continued to bring the Gracie Barra legacy to many new students, who were able to learn the pride and the honor to be part of the Gracie Barra family. His work is being continued by his students, who have been able to teach the high quality jiu jitsu and the Gracie Barra lifestyle that Fabio lives by. We are very proud to have Fabio Costa as our Head Instructor in Gracie Barra Santa Ana. He moved to Santa Ana so he can continue his goal of delivering to you not only a very high quality jiu jitsu, but also the passion, the pride and the honor to be part of Gracie Barra family.
